Ornamental Grasses

-Dark green foliage turns purple as the nights begin to cool. Intensifying to nearly black by late August. Burgundy flowers resemble turkey feet.

-Fine, powdery blue foliage forms a dense clump. Light brown flower spikes are held erect above the foliage. Requires full sun and well-drained soil.

-Red-tinted green foliage forms a tight, upright clump, turning red-orange in fall. Silvery flower plumes are held 12-24” above the foliage. Does best in full sun.

-Gracefully arching green leaves turn bright coppery-red in the fall. Large, silky silver-white plumes float above the foliage. Excellent winter interest

-The striking foliage of Japanese forest grass is the perfect addition to a shady landscape. With bright green leaves that stand out from spring to fall, this grass offers season-long interest in a low growing plant.

-Medium green foliage in upright, arching clumps turn golden-yellow in fall. Seed heads emerge green, then mauve before turning to wheat color. Will not bloom well in partial shade.

-Blue-gray foliage forms dense arching clumps turning red to red-orange in fall. Small, silver racemes are held just above the foliage. Does best in full sun, will not tolerate wet soils.

-Beautiful green and white variegated foliage in upright clumps. Feathery plumes of tan-colored seed heads emerge in late spring reaching up to 5’ tall.

-A durable performer with a compact, upright habit. Blue-green stems support deep red foliage and rosy panicles in summer.

-Absolutely ideal for planting in decorative containers or in your landscape. This hardy Red Switch Grass forms a tight, vase-shaped clump of blue-green foliage that begins to turning wine-red in early summer.

-Outstanding red tones in both foliage and flower make this grass stand out. The flowers are large with pinkish-red tones in mid to late summer. Gorgeous red fall foliage.

-Emerges green with red highlights. Red hues increasing as fall approaches and turning bright red after a frost.

-Slightly arching leaves are green in early summer, begin to darker with red tones in midsummer, and turn a deep burgundy-wine in fall. Airy, red seed heads are held 12 – 16” above the foliage.

-A little bluestem selection with sturdy, upright stems. Blue-green leaves turn to brilliant shades of oranges, reds and yellows in the fall.
